Features
The Liquid Shield system by Pumpables is different from traditional hard flange systems because it contains a soft interior insert, the Liquid insert. This is made out of lovely soft liquid silicone, and it works very differently from a traditional flange.
The Liquid insert moulds to the breast tissue, and provides a soft environment for the nipple to be drawn down. Because the Liquid insert is full-length, and extends all the way from the breast right past the nipple, there are no edges or friction, just a nice comfortable material of liquid silicone.
As the Liquid insert is flexible, when your breast pump applies suction the Liquid insert will actually collapse down around your nipple, which helps compress and massage the nipple. This mimics the way your baby's palate compresses the nipple when she is breastfeeding.

The best shield size will fit snugly around your nipple, with no areola.
We know it can be confusing figuring out shield sizing, so we really recommend you get in touch if you need fitting help.
Tip most pumpers are using too large a shield, so have us help if you're not sure 💁.

This shield fits with wide neck bottles. If you're using narrow neck bottles, you can still use Liquid Kit with a wide to narrow bottle neck adaptor (or just buy some cheap wide neck bottles).
Breast pumps
The Liquid Kit is a closed system, so you can use it with any pump (i.e. Spectra). You must use the entire Liquid Kit when pumping (you cannot use just the Liquid insert with breastshields from another range).
The Liquid Kit comes with a standard sized silicone tubing, but some pumps i.e. Medela need a connector attached to the end of the tubing in order to connect it to the pump. If you're using a pump that has a tubing connector between tubing and pump, you may not be able to use Liquid Kit.

I’m a bit of a pump collector and I have to say the super genie with liquid shield kits is the best thing since sliced bread!!! It has made pumping at work so comfortable, I look forward to my next pump session! The liquid inserts are little silicone clouds for your nips!! If you are on the fence, DO IT!

Saved my breastfeeding journey
After getting CONSTANT clogged ducts with my traditional spectra flanges (even with silicone inserts), I finally found these and made the purchase! I’m now comfortably pumping, my supply is back up and no more clogged ducts!! Yaaay!

This kit feels like you're wearing nothing and it's so comfortable! My breast used to get raw and stay that way because I have elastic nipples and this shield kit has helped 100% to able them to heal. I love it!

These parts are much easier to assemble/clean/put together than the pump parts that come with the machines! Will deff be buying again & recommending. The fact that the duckbill part is already connected to the phalange makes life SOO much easier, one less part to clean, one less part to put together, one less part to loose track of! The diaphragm doesn't touch where the milk collects which is super nice because you could clean it every other day (or however often you choose). Comes with two tubes (four in total) so if you have to two pumps there's no remembering to bring the tubes to the machine, one set for each is nice!! Way better feel than the hard plastic ones pumps come with!

I bought these to use with my spectra pump and they are AMAZING! So sad it took me until my second baby to figure out this set up. So comfortable and totally changed the game for me pumping with my return to work. The customer service is phenomenal, fitting room help was fast and accurate and I had a very minor issue after delivery that was resolved as soon as I reached out. HIGHLY recommend, pumping can be comfortable moms!

I've been struggling with breast feeding as my baby as a tongue tie and I learned that means she can't effectively remove milk so my supply dropped when I was Breastfeeding. Now I'm exclusively Pumping to get calories in her and get my supply up. The compression has helped double my supply from what it was a month ago and I hope it continues. I'm still only making 12 ounces a day but I'm hopeful that continual use of the pumpables liquid shield will help increase my supply more. I was lucky a month ago to get 20 ml from a 30 minute pump session and now I get between 40-70 (depending on the time of day)

I am not one to write reviews, but since using the liquid shield kit, my output has increased significantly! Pumping is also more comfortable. I will be using these for the remainder of my pumping journey! Great product.
